QUB won (dominated) the first intervarsity sub wrestling tournament last year, entering only 5 competitors yet coming away with 4 gold and 1 bronze from the indivdual categories and won the team event in impressive fashion. (Video here)

You must be a current student to compete

As we currently only have one person from last year's team confirmed as going and several of our seniors are away at other tournaments, the team will be picked over the next few weeks - so if you want to be on it and represent your university make sure you get to training!

There is also a strong possibility of blues for those who compete and do well (we're just trying to figure out which forms to fill out )

Also please be aware that you don't have to be on the team to compete, there are beginner intermediate and advanced individual categories for all who wish to enter them

I'd love to see a big turnout to this guys, it was great fun last year and I think we've a good shot at retaining our title.
