Alas I have to miss another wednesday of BJJ because of work...
Fear not however james is going to be on hand teaching some sick techniques from the guard.

THIS WILL BE A GI SESSION

In case some guys haven't got a jacket with them it would be helpful if anyone reading this packed their 'spare' to help out!

Have fun guys- James is a great coach!

I was thinking about starting training tonight with you guys, was just wondering if this class is more advanced, or if beginners are welcome too?
Also i dont have a Gi, would this be a big problem?

Thanks

You are more than welcome to come and train with us. Wednesday is usually very good for beginners: plenty of time for learning technique and drilling it. It is usually a good idea to have a gi, but no worries if it is your first time.
Hopefully see you tonight!

Class was a great success tonight, after some feedback alot of people were happy with the coaching whilst getting to learn some new things they had never seen before. Plus, an instructional of everything that was taught tonight has been recorded for people to look back on, this is in Olga's possession and will most likely be put on the forum at some point.
Would like to thank Matt for being my dummy tonight
and Caoimhe for helping me go round the individual pairs pointing out the finer details and ironing little technical elements.
A special thanks however goes out too all the students that came tonight, with out you the club wouldn't be where it is today.
Good training and keep up the good work.
osu!!!

Last night was my first class at QUB BJJ and I was very impressed.
Instructors were clear and took time to make sure we got the techniques.
Seems like a great team to train with and I will definatly be back.
I would recomend the QUB club to anyone thinking about starting BJJ.

Thanks.
