Oh yeah I had my first kickboxing fight on Saturday night there, got a bit of a hiding in the second round, knocked him down with a decent roundhouse to the body in the 3rd round, but lost by decision. We both got an 8 count, me for not punching back at one point which I was quite surprised about, and his for when I knocked him over, but the decision was unanimous in his favor. Wasnt bad for my first attempt though apparently. 2nd round he got up close and emptied on me, it was like his 10th fight and he likes his boxing and haymakers apparently, so I've 2 black eyes! haha! Was good fun though, i'll be doing it again and I should do better next time!

man fair play to you, it takes balls to compete, especially when striking is involved. Although you didn't win, well done it sounds as though you still held you ground and gave him just as good back.
Gotta see you on the mats sometime there would be something cool and hardcore about seeing a guy fighting away with two black eyes.

I don't actually mate! thought a guy had it then found out he only video'd the fighting fit ones! next one is September I'll make sure to get it filmed hopefully it'll be a fair fight too!
